Winner of races in Singapore will be recording a history for himself. It can be a valuable experience and something money cannot buy in future.
Getting photos and videos of your winning in the Singapore horse racing will be a unique historical photo of you at the winner’s circle.
Sadly, It’s a sure to be gone thing here. Horse owners are also going to have new plans for their interest in horse racing. Some will move their horses to Malaysia, Australia, or New Zealand.
Few will give up and ‘hang their boots’. Some will decide to stay low and sell their horses. They are worried if the horses are not sold later or unable to go to Malaysia (due to age of horse – import requirement set), they have to be responsible for the horses fully and that time they imagine will be problematic situation for horse owners. But I do believe the authorities will help out and provide solutions.
In any situation, when there are problems.. there will be opportunities. Currently there will be horse owners selling their horses at an attractive price. Good horses may be sold at below market price and that will be an opportunity for you.

Horse racing can be unpredictable. Normally in the Classes 5 races, as this horses are there in this Class as it is due to their low strike rate and low rating points. Horses in the better classes are more reliable and predictable. Unfortunately most of the horses are in the Class 5 and takes up to 60 to 70% of our weekly event.
This can sometimes be interesting as you can see horses of , 8, 9, and 10years old seems to be competing with younger horses. Young horses are racing in that class as many horses takes time to get themselves ready to be competitive. This can be due to many reasons.
Older horses which races in the Class 5 races can be very capable in their prime age of 4,5,6years old. They are slower as they gets older hence, they have dropped in points and able to be competitive at this Class.

Horse Highlight Of The Week
GENERAL COMMAND – HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK FOR 3rd June 2023 Singapore Horse Racing. He is an UP AND COMING Race horse that will be given more attention. He will be tested at this level in a CLASS 2 race on Poly track over 1100m. He last ran a Class 2 race when he was bitten by another progressive horse namely SILENT IS GOLD.
GENERAL COMMAND has only got 4 Starts to date and he will be jumping from an outside barrier of number 7 from a small field race of 7 horses tomorrow in Race 8. Race 8 Horse 2 – ILLUSTRIOUS will be a danger horse to be finishing in the top 3 spot. ILLUSTRIOUS a recent winner in a Class 3 race which he clocked 1:04.56sec carrying 59kg in a similar race of 1100m on the poly track. Race 8 Top 4 Selections are:

Horse Racing In Singapore.. I believe.. Everyone Can Win!
Saturday is a busy day with 12 races and can be quite tricky as the races are presented with not many outstanding horses that will be going to a higher class of racing. Almost all races are of open and punters can expect winners from mid range payout. And there’s only a few races with a clear favorites to win.
Having said that, just remind me of last meeting races. The clear favorites in some races disappoints the whole population of racegoers. Many would expect Golden Monkey would be there at the finishing line, unfortunately things happened in racing.
Sometimes if you are nearer to the horses, you will be able to give better judgement of horses. One of the way of getting near to the horses is to own the horse and you will be more updated of the horses conditions by it’s care giver or it’s trainer. He is responsible to update horses conditions on and off the races.

Race 8 no 2California Deeply, can win again. He is a classy 3 years old and a top 3 finishing efforts is expected from most selections experts. California Deeply, needs to overcome a weight increase after finishing fifth in his local debut over this Course & Distance race with two sweeping victories over reopposing rivals. He is still untapped and has claims to make.
Horse no 5. Pretty Queen Prawn has shown good versatility to fill the frame in all five Course and Distance runs this term, including two wins in Class Four, and was only beaten late by California Deeply in his most recent start in this grade. He reopposes significantly better off the weights, but will face a difficult task from gate nine.
Beware of Horse No.1 Special M has filled the frame in three of his four Course and Distance starts this season, including a solid second to California Deeply while carrying 134 pounds, but will face stiff opposition from gate 10 carrying top weight. Gorgeous Vitality finished third to California Deeply in his first race back from knee surgery in July. He’ll have tightened up in preparation for the run and will go close.
Hongkong Races been exciting ! The class of horses is tremendous. Race timing is fast and almost every time at the final 100meters to winning post you cannot be 100% sure of who is going to clearly win the race. Most races are thrilling at the finish and that’s the joy racegoers wanted.
They have produced what the public wants to see and enjoy! All Stables is going for a win. Jockeys, Trainers, Owners alike. They all loves to win. Winning is a hobby and that’s what created the positive, electrifying atmosphere. Races day are usually pack with more than 30,000 people at the racing club.
The number of horses been slightly down, probably due to uncertainty of the economic and slight political challenges. I think it may be the same any part of the world. We are facing the same uncertainty of the future.
Anyway, Hongkong is still going to be the most exciting location for the races in Asia. Hongkong’s healthy turn over from bets and sponsorships is the factor that is making it the top of the trade in it’s region.
This year we will have more fun and excitement at the Hongkong Jockey Club!!

Hi welcome back.. Previous race day was a thriller. Especially with Packing Treadmill remains unbeaten this season, thanks to the debut of replacement rider Dylan Mo.
Most have predicted that Packing Treadmill will be hard to beat with Hugh Bowman to ride. But as the race day there’s changes to replace H Bowman ride. It is jockey Dylan Mo to ride Packing Treadmill. All predictions went astray as racegoers look for other horse to win this race. It is especially so as Dylan Mo whom have not score in any of his 47 rides. He too was frustrated with his luck and this season’s campaign. The 29-year-old jockey had not saluted the judge since he won on Sparkling Dolphin on July 1.
Jockeys understand this game.
To score a win, especially in a highly competetive Hong Kong races a jockey needs more than skills. Strong minds are very essential and that is what Dylan Mo showed that day.
He rode a race as if he is the Hong Kong Premiership leading jockey. Full of confidence and a well timed race. He may have more rides after this win and hope he can create his winning momentum.
Punters are rewarded handsomely for following a Cup winning potential horse. His trainer Francis Lui Kin-wai says.. “The draw helped, and the horse has got a very good fighting heart,”
Wednesday night is a Happy Valley Race and wishing all a happy racing night. It’s looked like Zac Purton bank account going to be busy tonight!

Horse Racing In Hong Kong going to be interesting this Saturday. Champion Jockey was booked for many good rides. It looks like he is going to get few top 3 finish in the races.
Some of them are given the added 1 or 2 length faster as he is a really good jockey. He has equipped himself with skills from all the years experience and of course his gifted with great talents. He’s always going to be the top choices in most races. Horses responded well with his riding and punters are most happy to spend the afternoon at the turf club.
Hong Kong horses are of high quality and really loves the 2 tracks in Sha Tin and Happy Valley. These horses come from different part of the world. I always hope for horses from Australia and New Zealand to win races as I have the kind of liking for the horses from there.

HISTORY OF THE SINGAPORE GOLD CUP: Inaugurated in 1924 at the Serangoon Road Race Course at Farrer Park, the Singapore Gold Cup was raced there until 1933, after which it was moved to the new Bukit Timah Race Course. It remained there until 1999 when the Bukit Timah facility was closed, to be replaced with a new Singapore Turf Club situated at Kranji.
The first Singapore Gold Cup held in 1924 at Farrer Park was won by Thelasocrete, who took home the prizemoney of $1,600.
In 1958, Abdul Mawi became the first local jockey to win the Gold Cup. In 2008, El Dorado won the event, making him the first ever Japanese-bred horse trained in Singapore to win a Singapore Group 1 race.
To mark its move from Bukit Timah to Kranji in 1999, Singapore Turf Club raised the prizemoney to $1 million and opened the race to international contenders, but the race returned to domestic status three years later. The residency conditions are specified on the Singapore Turf Club website.
As a result of World War II, there was no race run from 1942 through 1947.

Horse racing in Singapore held once a week, usually on Saturdays or Sundays. It started at 12 noon and ends at 5pm.
There is going to be 10 races this week. Each race will be exciting as the Singapore Kranji race track is designed to show only the best horses will be able to win here.
Kranji races is tough for both jockeys and the winning horses. This coupled with a fantastic handicapping system that the club adopt. Well done Singapore for making horse racing in Singapore an exciting, enjoyable and may be profitable for some lucky horse racing industry enthusiast.
