Ways to make money in horse racing investments

You like horses and like to make it as your daily activities? Some take it seriously, but to some only as a weekend hobby. Some can make it profitable and take this ‘love’ to a daily thing. They talk, eat, read, google about horses and invest on horses too. Some like to know how to make money and support your hobby and make it profitable.

First of all, you must have at least 2 of the ingredients. No. 1 – love horses, No. 2 a business minded personality.

Let me share you some ideas of horse racing profits. There are many ways you can become profitable on horse racing, some are not honest ways, which is not good. Many lost money in horse racing and to extend saying ‘HORSE RACING IS DIRTY’

Let’s go to the ways to make money in Horse Racing In Singapore.

  1. Be a racehorse owner and buy a very good horse. You make money from horses winning races, buy at least a Class 3 or better horse. This is the only way to make money as a race horse owner, and if you choose not to bet on horses. Class 3 horses prize money is a $70,000, in which winning horses owner will take more than 43% of the purse money of $70,000, which is going to be around $30,000 to $32,000. This will cover your 1 years training bill. If your trainer charges you $3000 per month on the professional fees, box, feed, training and upkeep. It is important to keep the overheads low. Local trainers may charge about $100/day of upkeep. Remember : Expensive horses is not necessary good horse. A Good horse is usually from a good proven bloodline, have good conformation, scopey, strong, good physical and walks nicely, have a good attitude, calm and more… Short cut in buying a good decent race horse, you need money and connections. I can help to do this.
  2. Focus on betting, and there are a few strategies and you will need to pay a lot of attention on the horses work out in preparation for the races. Handicapping is essential skills, but you may find a good handicapper or tipster for this. Other things about winning bets on horses is having good eyes for observing recent Trails. Barrier Trials are usually conducted on weekdays, usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sprinters are usually easier to catch as the have to show it during the weekdays morning trials. There’s more other things about batting which you need to learn from past races. Anyway, If you ever choose to bet on horses, bare in mind.. you only use spare monies and that you can afford losing them. It is not recommended to bet on horses as there are many stories of money losing punters and ended up a broken person. From Riches to Rags. Many people who is long enough in this industry will have stories of the above. So, only aim the other way, in which bring small money and aim for big money. Example of Small money bets are Tierce and Quartet bets. A $2 Bet – and if you are lucky you may bag a big return on them. Small Bets or Large bets – End of the day is about LUCK. Best recommendation is not to bet on horses as it is not easy and nothing is a sure bet!
  3. Buy and sell horses. If you have the skills to select young horses. Buy them, get them prepared for the sales in it’s countries and sell them for profits. This needs many years of experience. It is a business and it can be profitable. Many data of good stallion horses, dams and bloodlines must be mastered or at least studied. You need large capital of around $100,000 (SGD) and a risk of losing your money, due to unsold or bad enough to have an injured horse. You also must have experience in handling buyers and foreign trainers, if you were to operate from Singapore. You also need to pay taxes on your profits. (You need to ask your accountant or other professionals in this matter) Prepared horses are usually sold online like inglisdigital.com or the gavelhouse.com and there are some others too. You need to set a minimum price for the seller to sell for you and usually it is through an online auction – which you may have buyers from a few countries. If your horse have got not much attention, you may lose the participation fees charged by the auctioneer. Again here you need to buy good quality horses, to get attention and to sell at good prices. Send to a good trainer who is experience enough to prepare your horses for sale.

Developing Winning Strategies are Key!

While having a fast racehorse is undoubtedly advantageous in racing, winning a race requires more than just speed. Racing strategies and tactics are extremely important in achieving success. In this post, we’ll go over how to create winning racing strategies, such as selecting the right jockey, analyzing track conditions, and strategizing around the competition.

Selecting the Best Jockey for a Racehorse

Choosing the right jockey is an important part of creating a winning racing strategy. Jockeys are highly skilled athletes who can make a significant difference in a racehorse’s performance. A good jockey can read a racehorse’s body language and make quick decisions in the heat of the moment. When choosing a jockey, consider their experience, reputation, and track record of success.

Track Conditions Examination

Track conditions can have a significant impact on a racehorse’s performance, so they must be carefully considered when developing a racing strategy. Weather, track surface, and distance can all have an impact on how a racehorse performs. Trainers and jockeys can make informed decisions about race tactics and equipment by understanding these conditions.

In Singapore races, we have got 2 surface of race tracks. Both tracks have significant impact on some horses. Know your horses liking and that can be a good start for a winning strategy.

Creating a Strategy to Survive the Competition

There will always be competition to beat in any race. Developing a winning racing strategy includes strategizing around the competition. This includes identifying potential threats and opportunities as well as analyzing the competition’s strengths and weaknesses. Trainers and jockeys can make informed decisions about race tactics and adjust their strategy as needed if they understand the competition.

Maximizing a Racehorse’s Strengths

Finally, it is critical to devise a racing strategy that capitalizes on a racehorse’s strengths. Every racehorse is unique, and it’s critical to understand what they excel at and where they may falter. Trainers and jockeys can improve their chances of success on the racetrack by developing a strategy that plays to the strengths of their horses.

While having a fast racehorse is unquestionably advantageous in racing, developing a winning racing strategy is equally important. Trainers and jockeys can improve their chances of success on the racetrack by selecting the right jockey, analyzing track conditions, strategizing around the competition, and maximizing a racehorse’s strengths.

Racing is a complex and dynamic sport, and developing a winning racing strategy requires careful planning, expert knowledge, and experience.

Racehorse training and conditioning

Racehorse training and conditioning is a complicated process that combines science, art, and experience. It necessitates meticulous planning, expert knowledge, and knowledge of the horse’s physical capabilities and limitations. In this post, we’ll look at the science behind racehorse training and conditioning, including how to create a training program, manage injuries, and keep horses healthy overall.

Horse Physiology: What You Need to Know

Understanding horse physiology is the first step in developing a successful training program. Horses are athletic animals built for speed and endurance, but they are not without limitations. To perform optimally, a horse’s cardiovascular and respiratory systems must be in top shape. Other considerations include the horse’s age, breed, and physical condition.

Creating a Training Program

The next step is to design a training program that is specific to the horse’s needs. A training program should include a variety of cardiovascular, strength, and skill-building exercises. To avoid injury and overexertion, it should also include a gradual increase in intensity and duration. Furthermore, the horse’s diet and rest schedule should be reviewed.

In addition, the horse’s diet and rest schedule must be carefully monitored to ensure peak performance.

Taking Care of Training Injuries

Injuries can occur during training and racing despite the best efforts of trainers and owners. To avoid further damage, it is critical to identify and treat injuries as soon as possible. Rest and rehabilitation are included, as well as collaboration with veterinarians and other experts to develop a plan for a safe return to training.

Keeping Your Horse in Good Health

Finally, maintaining overall horse health is critical to a training program’s success. This includes regular veterinarian visits, proper nutrition and hydration, and keeping a clean and safe living environment. It’s also critical to give horses opportunities for rest and relaxation to avoid physical and mental exhaustion.

Racehorse training and conditioning is a multifaceted process that necessitates careful planning, expert knowledge, and a thorough understanding of the horse’s physiology and limitations. Trainers and owners can help their horses perform at their best and achieve success on the racetrack by developing a tailored training program, managing injuries, and maintaining overall horse health.

Whether you are new to the game, have more losses than wins, or are simply looking for a different approach, I am confident that I can assist you.

Kranji 4th FEB 2023

Welcome back!

It’s going to be another exciting week. Main event is going to be in Race 11 in today’s 12 Races. Starting time for race 1 will be at 12.00 Saturday afternoon.

On paper, most races will be open field. Expect heavy rain probably to come at around 1 pm till 6pm. Swimmers may got an advantage. But Singapore turf tracks will need a continuous heavy down pour to change its going to yielding, soft or heavy.

The main event race will see Lim’s Kosciuszko, to prove his worth for his recent Hongkong trip representing Singapore to be racing in his pet distance, unfortunately he ended up last in the event. He showed a brilliant speed, talent and capability leading the race till the final 400meters in the 1200meters event run on Turf. He is a Brave one and probably due to time and tediousness travelling to the capital of S.E.A’s horse racing may cause him not to last the 1200meters. I hope he come back strong and stamp his class tomorrow. Ridden by top form and luck jockey, Jimmy Wong. He will jump from gate 4, and I saw him as difficult to beat customer. Dangers will come from Horse No. 3 Rocket Star, No. 4 Surpass Natural and No.6 Ocean Crossing. A outsider chance is No.8 The August

Selections are based on normal 5.0 Good going.

Today’s race cards is filled with interesting line up. Among the cards we will have an opportunity watching a few last start winners, up and coming quality horses, and frequent winners matching again in races at different weights and gates. I am happy to see among others how these few horses finishing their campaign at this beginning of the the year. Horses like of Cosmic Dancer, HOle in One, Petrograd, Rumble (last scored with a record pay out for Singapore this year) are interesting last start winners who highlight of

Race 11, Both Golden Monkey (6) and King Arthur (1) will be fighting it out at the final furlong of 1200meters race. The KRANJI STAKES A (KS-A) race to be run on the long course at Kranji, the Singapore Turf Club. King Arthur have recorded 2 wins on 1200m Turf surface among his 9 career wins. He will be carrying 57kg, thanks to a claiming jockey in Apprentice F Yusoff – 2kg. Similarly, Golden Monkey won 2 times over 1200m on turf, one at a Group 3 level registering a 1.08.87 sec beating Silent is Gold by a comfortable 3.3Length for 3 years old horses on 22nd June last year. He is now a 4 years old and heading towards greater things of his racing career.

He will be at a weight advantage for carrying 53.5kg with ace jockey M Nunes on board. Golden Monkey will be a favorite to win this and I think he won’t disappoint his fans.

Grand Koonta, Lim’s Dream, Kharisma, Cyclone and Sky Eye will be finishing off for the 3rd placing. Race tactics is key and looks like Golden Monkey will be taking a better than mid field position before pushing the turbo button in the final 200m.

Sky Eye (9) will be a good thing for the adventurous as he has had a record of good time (1.08.60) in October 2022, when he was second to King Arthur in the similar class, course and distance. In that race he carried 51kg, from barrier no.3. On Monday Sky Eye will be ridden by an apprentice Jockey S Jamil, claim of 4kg. He should be riding at 49kg. A good weight advantage, and jump from barrier 4.

Singapore Kranji Race horse selections :

Will King Arthur be able to beat Golden Monkey on Monday? It’s a race worth watching live. Many ways to enjoy watching the race, online or real live at the Kranji Turf Club. Have fun guys!

HK – 18th JAN 2023

18 JAN 2023 – Happy Valley

Race 8 no 2 California Deeply, can win again. He is a classy 3 years old and a top 3 finishing efforts is expected from most selections experts. California Deeply, needs to overcome a weight increase after finishing fifth in his local debut over this Course & Distance race with two sweeping victories over reopposing rivals. He is still untapped and has claims to make.

Horse no 5. Pretty Queen Prawn has shown good versatility to fill the frame in all five Course and Distance runs this term, including two wins in Class Four, and was only beaten late by California Deeply in his most recent start in this grade. He reopposes significantly better off the weights, but will face a difficult task from gate nine.

Beware of Horse No.1 Special M has filled the frame in three of his four Course and Distance starts this season, including a solid second to California Deeply while carrying 134 pounds, but will face stiff opposition from gate 10 carrying top weight. Gorgeous Vitality finished third to California Deeply in his first race back from knee surgery in July. He’ll have tightened up in preparation for the run and will go close.

Enjoy the final race and stay cool!
